Sample r file download

The scripts listed below assume that data have been downloaded and stored in the working directory. Before running any of the other analysis programs, the first script listed Set Up Variables should be run to set up R data files. To estimate multivariate taxon-environment relationships, or to format any taxon-environment relationship correctly for maximum likelihood inferences, you will need to use the scripts provided in the R library bio. The library also contains the script that computes maximum likelihood inference and other tools.

Two sample data sets are provided here to illustrate the analysis methods described in this module. It complements workflows that require the use of other software. You can read more about the language and find documentation on the R Project Website. For installation instructions, please see the Installing R and RStudio page in the side menu. For sample the default for size is the number of items inferred from the first argument, so that sample x generates a random permutation of the elements of x or 1:x.

Non-integer positive numerical values of n or x will be truncated to the next smallest integer, which has to be no larger than. The optional prob argument can be used to give a vector of weights for obtaining the elements of the vector being sampled.
