AutoHDR is a freeware exposure adjuster software download filed under graphics software and made available by Martin Sykes for Windows. Despite great advances in technology, even the best camera often can't come close to capturing in a single shot the full range of light and shade visible to the human eye.
Also, unlike your eye which can adjust as it looks at each area of a scene, your camera is forced to make a single choice at the moment you press the button. It will do its best to select the most appropriate range but will often be forced to throw away clip either the darkest or brightest bits of the picture.
The consequence is that your final photograph might turn out to be a poor representation of the scene. We have not encountered any unpleasant surprises during our tests, though, since AutoHDR did not hang, crash or pop up error messages.
The only drawbacks to the tool is that there is no support for an undo feature, and the interface needs some polishing. Other than that, AutoHDR delivers simple solutions to automatically applying HDR effects to images, and provides options to first-time and experienced users alike.
Automatically applies HDR settings to images using preset or user-defined profiles, featuring photo resizing, watermarks, and batch processing. What's new in AutoHDR 2. Read the full changelog.
